PEORIA, Ill. – Darlene Senger, Republican nominee for Comptroller, says the state would save roughly $12M in consolidation of the Treasurer’s and Comptroller office. If elected, Senger claims she would be open to the possibilities and believes implementing a new layout would be the “easy part.”
“I know there are questions about who would serve in what capacity,” said Senger. “But honestly there is room for everyone. You have the person who is elected, and the person who is the chief of staff to run stuf.”
Jim Dodge, the GOP candidate for Treasurer, has said he would also be open to a consolidation.
